Refined Products
Our three refineries have a combined crude oil processing capacity of more than 700,000 barrels daily. The Pine Bend refinery in Rosemount, Minnesota, and the Corpus Christi East and West refineries in Texas produce jet fuel, low-sulfur gasoline and diesel that we distribute throughout the Midwest, Texas and the Southeast.
In addition to transportation fuels, we also transform crude oil into other useful products. We create propane and butane to provide heating for homes, asphalt for roads and construction projects, and fertilizer to nourish crops.

Stewardship Spotlight: Project CAR
Flint Hills Resources is a founding sponsor of Project Clean Air Repair (Project CAR). Through the program, car repair shops can be reimbursed for repairing broken exhaust systems in the cars of lower-income residents. Project CAR helps reduce emissions and improve access to reliable transportation.
